Here's the status of Project 6thDay so far!

Latest Update: JAN 30th 2016
Lots of gameplay tweeks
--> New tactical mode (hit space to try it)
--> Covering fire and such is implemented, but the items aren't put into the game levels yet but will be soon
--> Crates with loot is ready to put into the levels now, just need to come up with a few more loot items. Right now its just various ammo
--> New visuals for weapons fire (tracer rounds etc)
--> Weapon cooldowns between shots is based on character accuracy and weapon stats so you can spray and pray or fire slowly to maintain accuracy. Either way it just looks prettier now
Story interactions are multi optioned, so no more panel after panel, but a full dialog tree (done up to the first 3 or 4 encounters woo!)
--> They are all first draft so please give them a go tell me what you think of the writing style
Also, the trade system to swap inventory with you allies is complete and in need of testing, so feel free to use the editor to drop in allies and items and run the level (press T) and (press R) to start talking to the AIs.
--> This one really needs a test cause its super complex to code, so who knows what gems have found their way in
Also, the way text gets shown (speech bubble, panels and dialogs etc) all now have pacing built in so a comma generates a slight pause etc to make the text spell out at a pace like real talking.
Persona banter system is now live, but not all the personas are put in just yet, so time to get some more first drafts in (have only built the first 5 AI personas so far). I'll add the other banter data in soon! (I need rest!)
Looks like spawn bugs are finally gone, and collision issues are gone too.
Now on to the weird lighting bugs!
UPCOMING: Allegiances
--> This one will go in quickly, so need to think of some maybe light story changes to let this happen. The entire ending of the game story was written assuming we could never get the sides to ally up. So they will be able to do so at any time we feel like it
New Shadow rendering algorithms, way faster than the old system and more versatile.
AI Dialogs and Personas are coming in, have about 3 ready so far, check the forum for the load data for proof reading etc.
New sound library is building
